Capitol Reef Camping Trip

My dad's side of the family went to Capitol Reef this year for our Memorial weekend camping trip. This was Laura's very first camping trip and I think it went good. Me, Rob and the kids were able to share my dad's trailer with him, which I am very glad we did, especially with a 6 month old. It made Laura's first camping expirence better. So we got there Friday and we just set up camp and hung out at the campground that day. Saturday we went into Capitol Reef National Park and did a couple easy hikes for the kids. Larry loved climbing on the rocks! Sunday we just hung out at camp and then went home in the afternoon. It was so windy and it was supposed to rain that night and in the morning, we just decided to go home a day early. Laura did not like the wind, it bugged her eyes alot. The wind really sucked! It would just be a little breeze, then it would pick up alot and blow everything that wasn't pinned down. It was fun, I just wish it wasn't so windy!
